GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Youth Ballet classes are for students ages 7-12. There are two different class levels to suit students needs. Our intention is to offer a healthy fun environment, a beautiful time for kids to create, express, learn and experience the magnificent world of ballet and develop the love for dance and the arts.
Both levels of Youth Ballet classes are available two days per week. Students can choose to register for one of the days or both. For better results we suggest that students make the effort to commit to two days per week.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN A YOUTH BALLET CLASS
Youth Basic Ballet level is 1hr length and Intermediate level is 1hr 15min. Every class consist of exercises at the barre and Center. Exercises at the barre have a progression to better prepare students for dancing in the center.
Dress code: Girls: Any type & color of leotard and tights. Short dance skirt is allow. Not baggy clothing-Ballet shoes any color. Hair could be in a bun or braid and should be nicely attach to the head. No loose hair in the face or flying ponytails. Boys: Any type & color of dance shorts or tights. Solid color for t-shirts. Not baggy clothing. Ballet shoes any color.
NO JEWELRY OR WATCHES PLEASE
ONLY WATER IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE DANCE STUDIO
Youth Basic Ballet level (1HR LENGTH):
Classes at this level will be slower and have easier combinations than the Intermediate level to give students the time to understand the execution of steps, correct posture, and the use of legs, arms and head.
Classes are designed to help students develop strength, flexibility, coordination, musicality and artistry, as well as developing discipline, learning to work with others and supporting and caring for each other. Students can choose to register for one of the days or both. For better results we suggest that students make the effort to commit to two days per week.

Sibling Rate (5% Discount)

Youth Intermediate Ballet level (1HR 15 MIN LENGTH):
Classes at this level are design to increase the ballet vocabulary and to continue with the work that was done at the Basic ballet by taking the students into a higher level of training.
Classes are designed to help students develop strength, flexibility, coordination, musicality and artistry, as well as developing discipline, learning to work with others and supporting and caring for each other. Students can choose to register for one of the days or both. For better results we suggest that students make the effort to commit to two days per week.
